Moose visitation

This moose was in our back yard yesterday. He polished off all of the ivy leaves growing on our woodshed, then went after the mountain ash berries. He's a big boy and mighty hungry. I am starting to feel concerned for the wild life out here and how they are going to survive.







I think this guy is fairly young, he hasn't reached his full growth and may be one of the twin calves that visited us last year.

I had to lighten this photo quite a bit in order for the moose to show up.

He plopped down and started chewing his cud. He left sometime after sunset.
